Veteran Adventure

Hello Veterans,

Running a team of sled dogs is an exhilarating experience. Noble Paws wants to give you an opportunity to enjoy the companionship of our dogs while adventuring on the winter trails of Alaska.

Three Veteran Programs

We realize that everybody has their own needs and goals. So we provide three programs based on what you want to experience.

Weekend Warrior

  • Learn to handle and run dogs on the weekends. And if you like, train for a local dog mushing race using our dogs and equipment. Minimum four lessons prior to racing.

Week Long Intensive

  • Spend a five-day intensive with us and learn to run your own team. Spend three days learning to mush on our local trails, and then, take your pick – join in a local dog mushing race or go for a overnight back-country trip. This is ideal for people coming from out of town.

Season Long Handler

  • Experience the lifestyle of a being a musher. Run dogs once (or twice a week) for the entire season. Learn all things mushing and become an integral part of Noble Paws.

Equipment and Dogs

We have 24 sled dogs, five dog sleds and two pieces of adaptive equipment. Our equipment can accommodate most any ability. We even have equipment that will allow amputees and paraplegics the opportunity to run their own team. Learn more about our equipment.
